Q: Why are my customers redirected to MiltiaryToGo.com once they search for a ticket?

A: This format allows you to host a site relatively cheaply. If we were to build a full site for you the cost would exceed $995 for set-up and $2,000 per year. If you are interested in this option please let us know. Although they are redirected your affiliate code is always associated with them so that you will receive your commission for the sale.

Q: Why do you charge the customer a $22.50 service fee for each ticket?

A: Since MTG utilizes a special system that allows for the search of a military fare there are expenses for each ticket sold. MTG is always trying to reduce this fee based upon overall volume of the business. This fee also covers your commission.

Q: What does the monthly affiliate fee cover?

A: This provides for the maintenance and updates for your site, a secure certificate that allows for credit card transactions and a basic hosting fee.

Q: What is a military discount and are they always available?

A: Airlines offer military fares, which are discounted prices. These fares can range from 20% - %50 depending on the flight. There are times, in which certain flights will not carry a military discount and/or limit the number available. In this case, MTG will continue to search for the next lowest fare.

Q: Are there other sites that offer military discounts?

A: There are many sites that CLAIM military discounts, but as of date they only offer what is available to the general public. MTG is the only site (besides affiliate sites and government contracted agents) that offers these fares.

Q: What makes MTGs system special?

A: Besides searching for the military fare MTG offers real-time fare searches and more flight options (dates/times.)

Q: Why cant someone call the airline directly and receive the same discount?

A: They can. MTG has found that the airlines traditionally will not quote the military fares. The airline agent must conduct a special search for the fare, which often doesnt happen.

Q: Do I need to verify that the person buying the ticket is a military member or dependent?

A: No. The airline will ask for military identification once they arrive at the airport.

Q: Can we sell regular adult (civilian) tickets?

A: Yes. The customer needs to click on advance search.

Q: What if I need to make changes to my site?

A: Submit your request to MTGAffilaite@MilitaryToGo.com. If you request is a simple name change you will not be charged. If you want to add other features, i.e. text, picturesyou may be charged a $65 per hour programming fee.

A: Yes. See the advertising link on the affiliate page for more information.

Q: How do I get credit for sending you affiliates? How do they signup?

A: First you need to have completed your own registration to become an affiliate of MilitaryToGo.com. Once you have received your booking tool or your MilitaryToGo.com Affiliate site you simply send prospective affiliates to YOUR NEW SITE and have them click register. Your Affiliate ID will be attached to their new account so you will receive credit for their registration. We will notify you of their complete registration.
